II. Photogeologic Survey

Abstract

Among various methods for the petroleum prospect attention hasrecently been paid to the geological survey by the air-photo based on photogeology. This review describes the histrical background of the air-photo survey, photographing method, its kind, reduced scale, characteristics as well as the interpretation in the order of processes (given) in the practical geological survey. The methods which are being and/or will be developed are color- infrared-, radar- and space-photoes.
