Coal Oil Mixture (COM) was put in commercial operation in November 1984 at Yokosuka Thermal Station. In this paper, COM facilities and Flue Gas Treatment System of COM combustion are introduced . Operational experience is also discussed. Required COM specification and issues taken into concideration in facility aspect in commercialization are as follows.
