Pb-240 Effect of glucose concentration on heat of reaction for glucose decomposition in subcritical water

Abstract

Glucose was decomposed in subcritical water, and temperatures on flow are measured so that the heat of reaction along the flow are determined. The reaction was conducted at 350 oC and 23 MPa for the glucose concentration of 0.028-0.085 M . The higher concentration resulted in higher heat of reaction.
