Abstract
Simultaneous pulverization and hydrothermal pretreatment followed by enzymatic hydrolysis of lignocelluloses of eucalyptus was conducted, using a hydrothermal ball mill. The target temperature range was 180-240 ℃ and feedstock concentration range was 5-15 wt%. The ball loading and rotating speed was changed in the ranges of 0-1000 g and 0-300 rpm, respectively. Severe condition resulted in further decomposition of product glucose, and there was optimum condition for glucose yield for these conditions.
