Abstract
In a series of our residential-illumination-related researches for achieving energy saving and comfort, we created an illumination plan for a living area and a dining area using the distributed multiple-lamp arrangement. We at first assumed seven living activities, such as watching TV, and proposed five types of luminaire lighting patterns suitable for these activities. We also introduced some current misunderstandings about the distributed multiple-lamp arrangement, and make some discussions about the distributed multiple-lamp arrangement of the future.
