Abstract
This is a Christian church with one story above and one below the ground. A lot of wood, earth, water, and natural light are used, and a design with many curved surfaces or diagonals creates a space with a relaxed and soft feeling. In order to emphasize such a characterizing design, illuminations were planed in a manner to keep their designs reserved using modest luminaires so that the space alone emerges out of the light. During the night time, the wall surface resembling the Arc is illuminated by wall washers and reflects on the water, to create a fantastic atmosphere.
