This report describes about smart and zero-energy homes by Sumitomo Forestry, a housing company. The company's smart home has three features, 1) reduced energy consumption, 2) eco-friendly wooden house, 3) smart energy management. In this zero-energy home, it can attain zero-energy consumption by a combination of richer insulation, PV power generation, advanced A/C technology, the household fuel cogeneration system 'Ene-farm' and LED light.
