The author shows how easily the direct illumination due to perfectly diffusing polygonal source of uniform brighthness can be calculated analytically with a method proposed by him. A table in appendix and a diagram (see Fig. 5.), which assist in carrying out numerical calculation of the illumination in any cases, are given in this paper. As illustration of this method, examples are described and the results are checked by the method of-contour integration method.
