Abstract
In this paper, a method of calculating direct illumination from linear sources is reported. It is based on two precalculated functions derived from the analytic candlepower distribution of the source to be used.
In addition, these precalculated functions can be used to find the illumination on a point from a row of louvered luminaires and fluorescent sources.
