Abstract
We improved the construction of iodine lamps and consequently extended the application of these lamps to meet many diverse requirements such as floodlight, T. V. studio light. cinema projector lamps, etc.
Investigation of absence of blackening phenomenon in Jodine lamps has led to the development of new halogen lamps using iodine bronide and iodidne chlornide.
It has been revealed that these new halogen lamps have many excellent characteristics such as increased luminous flux in spite of same life and lower limit of bulb temperature.
