Abstract
Sixteen kinds of color affections for single colors were formulated as functions of the three values in the Munsell renotation system (Hue, Value and Chroma) with the least-square-method by using various data on the affective responses. The formulations of different color affections could be sufficiently realized in the expression of linear form, except for color preference whose expression becomes a quadratic form. The results of the formulations show the possibility of grouping into seven categories.
