Abstract
Data systematization is a methodology to arrange relevant data sets according to certain criteria to facilitate efficient utilization of limited data sets for the comprehensive assessment of irrigation perform-ance. This paper discussed data systematization on water utilization per-formance using data actually monitored in an irrigation project in the tropics. Advantages of data systematization were found in the following areas:
(1) Identification of input-output relation in a linkage of elemental data.
(2) Development of assessment indicators.
(3) Efficient use of limited data sets.
(4) Quantification of assessment indicators.
(5) Planning and designing of performance monitoring systems.
