Abstract
Ammonia, alcohol, formic acid and methylcyclohexane are considered to be chemical hydrogen storage medium, and we carry out research and development of their utilization technology. The advantages of these storage mediums are a high hydrogen storage density and easily-liquefiable medium, and therefore these mediums are expected to contribute to the development of the hydrogen energy system. We report research results regarding the catalytic decomposition of ammonia for hydrogen production, especially the effect of the pore structure of the support.
