Abstract
We focus on the Homogeneous Charge Compression Ignition (HCCI) combustion engine. It can achieve high efficiency due to high compression ratio and lean burn operation. By using blended fuel, it's possible to decrease the pressure rise ratio. In this study, we investigated influence of the combustion of the blended fuel by changing Intake pressure using FT-IR (Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy). In addition, chemical kinetic simulations were use to analyzed the reaction mechanism in detail.
