Abstract
There are many criticisms and problems unsolved in Herzberg's M-H theory. The problems include the Dual-factor theory itself, the method of data-collection, the subject of the survey, and the difference of culture. Our study clarifies the above problems through an empirical approach. This paper emphasizes the comparison using the following classification criteria; Our results and Herzberg's men and women in the same age bracket, supevisors and shop-floor employees, blue-collar and white-collar workers, etc.
