Abstract
In this paper, a new technique of probabilistic dispatching method is suggested, in which a parameter is given in the range of 0 to 1,in order to control the randmness of dispatching rules. Inmany cases, the schedule made by this technique is better than that by the daterministic or random dispatching method. It is described that MWKR dispatching rule is proper for maximum flow time evaluation, and LWRK dispatiching rule is proper for average flow time evaluation, when the new technique is applied to the static job-shop scheduling problem.
