Abstract
Effectiveness is in common the general concept of performance indexes, and the measurement / evaluation effectiveness is practised alone after the objective within the defined framework of effectivenss. In this case basic principales are necessary for facilitating the design processes. Particularly it is needed to so evaluate effectiveness as to pursue some phases of effectiveness. This paper deals with two indexes of effectiveness (i.e. job satisfaction and work performance) and introduces the "integrated effectiveness space", which can represent the overall effectiveness. By the use of the integrated effectiveness space some basic principles for developing the design processes are illustrated successfully.
