Abstract
The rating factor that was evaluated by the rater having the consitent tencency to evalute worker's performances can be corrected with the tendency, if the tendency could be known by some method. On the other hand, the rating factors are usually expressed by rounded numbers. In this paper, when heterogeneous data are contained, the effects of using rounded rating factors to estimate the tendency by the least squares method are studied and then methods of estimationg the tendency by some powers less than two are studied using the simulations.
