Abstract
In this paper, bistable perceptive phenomenon in judging ambiguous man/gial figure was considered through an experiment using the sequence of continuous figures with details of figures which changed from man face to gial shape and ambiguous man/gial figure was contained in. As a result of application of stochastic cusp catastrophe model to frequency distributions of the degree of judgement to man face acquired in this experiment, it was clarified that such a phenomenon could be explained by cusp catastrophe model.
