On Four Formulations of Goal Program Based on the Interval Concept

Abstract

In this paper, the goal program with interval coefficients and interval goals is formulated. Since the program is formalized based on the interval concept, two kinds of deviation form the interval of the goal can be considered. On each deviation, the program is formulated based on two kinds of decision procedure, i. e. minimizing the infimum and the supremum of the interval. The properties of these four formulated programs are investigated. As a program can be selected among four formulated programs by decision maker, the subject of decision maker can be reflected in the solution.
