The existing software complexity measures are numerous and diverse. The program complexity is one of the useful main measures for objective nd quantative evaluation of software. However, the known methods to measure program complexity are insufficient in that each method measures only one factor (e. g. program size, control flow, data flow etc.). Program complexity is, however, caused by many different factors, so measuring only one of them can not give reliable results. In this paper, we propose a new measure called HMCM (Hybrid Module Complexity Metrics), which combines the dependence among modules, and illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed measure.
