Abstract
This paper presents the estimation method of walking time. Walkings under the Multi-processes (TA-KOUTEIMOTI) working system are classified into four types of motions. Type 1 walking motion needs a body turn at the start point, type 2 is straight walking without body turn, type 3 requires another body turn at the end point and the last type involves body turns in the course of walking. The characteristics of four types of walking motions were considered based on four experiments. The result shows that the time of the above four types of motions can be estimated by one equation with variables indicating the walking distance and the angle of body turn at the start point and in the course of walking. In these experiments the deficiencies of MTM and WF analysis were demonstrated by comparing with the analysis of four types of motions.
