Abstract
The paper describes results of investigation concerning new fuel additive named Yunic 6005 on marine engines.
The trial by using Yunic 600S has been carried out on the diesel engines of the laboratory and ocean-going vessels.
As a result of the trial, the effect of Yunic 600S has been found on low grade fuel oils which is reducing of engine trouble such as blowing off of exhaust valve, surging of turbo charger and fouling of auxiliary boiler.
