Abstract
When we intend to observe the azimuth of a fixed star accurately, it is well known that we should sellect one whose altitude is approximately less than 45 degrees. But the time variation of the azimuth, which is another important factor for the same purpose, is liable to be overlooked by reason of the trouble in the calculation. So, with these points as a background, a practical table of the optimum azimuth observation has been made in this paper. Being not enough space to show the whole table, a few typical example will be introduced in Table 2 and 3.
