Abstract
In the recent log books and reference books on the nautical terms we can often find that undoubtedly wrong usage and expressions are being used as the customary usage of the nautical terms. This means that they are not only lcsing the significance of writing log books in English but also destroying the customary usage of the nautical terms itself. In this report the present writer would like to pick up the five mistaken examples and to improve the future method of writing log books.
