The traffic near Nabeshima Suido and, the wake and the distribution of the speed (over the ground) of Vessels (over G.T.3,000t).(Reports from the Research Committees,<Special Issue>Navigation Instruments)

Abstract

In order to know the actual condition of the traffic on Nabeshima-Suido, we enforced the investigation for seven days in this summer (by continuous day and night watch) using a Marin Radar and Watchmen at the same time. We are analyzing the data which was gotten from the investigation, but now we report about the part of the result, that is, the traffic volume and, the wake and the distribution of the speed (over the ground) on vesseles over 3,000 tons.
