On the influence of the addition of a foreign element on the superlattice formation of binary alloys

Abstract

The influence of the addition of a foreign element on the superlattice formation of the AuCu₃ type, especially the change of transformation temperature, was studied on the basis of the Bragg-Williams theory of superlattice. Calculations were carried out to several simple cases. The results were discussed in connection with the real ternary alloys.
