Abstract
Since the permanent magnet type synchronous generator (PMSG) has low loss and high efficiency, various power generation methods have been proposed and are widely used for wind power generation. However, in order to control the permanent magnet types synchronous generator, a sensor that detects the rotation angle is required, which is disadvantageous in terms of cost and maintenance. The authors proposed a wind power generation system that connects to a DC bus without a position sensor, inspired by a high power factor converter for grid interconnection, but estimated the internal electromotive force and used PLL. Since it is a method of finding the angle and frequency, there is a problem that the frequency is not locked at low rotation where the voltage and current are small, and the control tends to be unstable. In order to solve this problem, in this paper, we propose a method of stabilizing the frequency, which is the reference of the PLL, by using a feedback type configuration and using a rate limiter.
