Ever since a system for purchasing surplus power from private power generating systems was established in 1992, we have seen enthusiasm for new energy power generation rise along with interest in environmental problems. Besides, the technical guidelines provide for interconnected system with reverse power flow, had been established in 1993.
We have been developing high-frequency linked inverter for photovoltaic power system.
In this paper, we will describe a method for generating pulse width modulation for instantaneous current regulation with a digital signal processor, as well as a technology for peak power tracking of solar cells by microcomputer. Finally we will discuss field test results on an inverter system.
