Abstract
Applied superconductivity has been much interested over the world since the discovery of superconductive materials, especially, high temperature ones. In this presentation the present state of application of supercoductivity will be reviewed. Zero electric resistance is one aspect of superconductivity. Such an aspect yields energy saving, resulting in the high efficiency of electric power system apparatuses and machines. Recently the electric power system becomes huge and complex, and then its stability may be in a critical condition. For instanee, superconducting generator would contribute the increase of the stability, efficiency, the reduction in size and weight, and so on. Here the technical features of some superconducting devices will be explained.
