Abstract
The inverter-fed vector controlled induction motor with or without a speed sensor has been used in many industrial applications as actuating motors of variable speed servo-systems. However, the motor efficiency of the vector controlled induction motor is comparatively low at the lower speed region. In this paper, experimental results of vector controlled Induction motor which is applied the maximum efficiency drive technique taking iron-loss into account are shown comparison with the indirect and the direct vector controlled conditions.
