The purpose of this study was to clarify the current status of in-hospital educational support for new graduated nurses whose learning has been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with 9 supervisors in hospitals with 300 or more beds. The mean ± SD length of work experience as a supervisor was 3.6 ± 1.5 years. All hospitals have been accepting COVID-19 patients. The current status of in-hospital educational support for new graduated nurses whose learning has been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic was outlined by 3 conceptual categories: [training contents formulated in consideration of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on learning], [environments for new graduate education during the COVID-19 pandemic], and [supervisors' views on new graduated nurses whose learning has been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic]. As the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic still persists, it is necessary to continue educational support for new graduated nurses whose learning has been affected from a long-term perspective.
