Facilities for Mammography Image Evaluation

―Activity of the Committee for Breast Cancer Screening in Asahikawa City―

Abstract

Mammographic screening calls for high-precision reading of high-quality mammograms. However only a small number of facilities have been subjected to external image evaluation. All mammography institutions in Asahikawa city have been authorized by the Central Committee for Quality Control of Mammographic Screening. We describe in detail how this has been achieved by cooperative activities including teaching courses.
