Abstract
Dislocations in BN crystals with hexagonal structure have been studied by transmission electron microscopy. Small particles of hexagonal BN were scattered on a carbon film stretched on a grid. Some of the particles are single crystals. Dislocations expanding from a node to three <1100> directions were observed on the {0001} plane. They were photographed under various diffraction conditions. The Burgers vector of the dislocation was found to be (1/3) <2110> by the g・b=0 criterion.
