Abstract
Child-care lessons at a junior high school were planned and attempted. Considerable differences were observed on the effects of learning between boys and girls, not only in their knowledge but also in their interest and desire to learn. Differences of the effects of learning between the two types of classes-coeducational classes and the separated classes made up of boys or girls only-were not as distinct as the differences observed between sexes. However, most of the students belonging to the coeducational classses recognized the merits of coeducation.
