Abstract

The Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) is a not-for-profit organization that certifies professional behavior analysts with formal support from the Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABA). In this document, we describe BACB's certification system and the Applied Behavior Analysis Task List on which the certification examinations have been based. By defining an applied behavior analysis specialty, we hope to open discussions about increasing and maintaining quality behavioral services in Japan.
