Oono et al. (1996) had found that juvenile delinquents who had severe experiences (traumatic events of the own or family members injury, the loss of very important things or friends or refuge life) by the Hanshin-Awaji great earthquake had anxiety at high level, distraction of thought and strengthening of altruistic attitude. The aim of this study is to clarify the psychological variations of those survivors during four to seventeen months after disaster.
The results indicated the lowering of anxiety and distraction of thought through passing time. Only altruistic attitude was retained strongly during investigation. Although we observed that PTSR was disappearing following the time passed, it is neccessary to note and examine the secondary disaster which makes further mental stress.
