Abstract

There are many functions in a family, for instance, the function of protection, the function of communication, etc. I set the family group-standard that consists of those functions and brings them into focus.

When we try to understand the delinquency as a deviation from the social norm, we should be aware that the family group-standard intervenes between individual behavior standard and social behavior standard. In this paper, I clearly explained four typical cases of delinquency with this concept.

It would be possible for us to use this concept as the theoretical framework for the purpose of understanding delinquency and therapeutic treatment.
