Abstract

Many falls occur among care workers in social welfare facilities, but the number of falls among experienced care workers is small. This study conducted an interview survey of experienced care workers working in elderly care facilities and analyzed the care workers' efforts to prevent falls (fall prevention behavior). As a result, characteristic fall prevention behavior of care workers, including behavior related to non-technical skills, was extracted.
