Combination Furniture Design Based on Quality-Function Development

Abstract

Utilizing Quality Function Deployment and Analytic Hierarchy Process techniques, we design a combination furniture that reflects the needs of the user. Using a simple cubic structure as a foundation, we combine tables, chairs, and storage boxes for efficient use of the living space. Based on the results of a questionnaire survey, a design process was developed to organize user requirements and translate them into design elements.
