Abstract
The purpose of this study is to supply basic data of the elder which to measure their visual performance and the size of body dimensions. The subjects were 100 older people (male and female) aged 60 or more and 100 younger people (male and female) in their age 20 to 30. The subjects in two groups were measured by anthropometric method and these data were compared between two groups. The anthropometric measurement was 22 items needed to design the worktable proper for sitting posture such as computer workstation. The characteristics of the elder's visual performance were measured response to stimulus for chroma, area, length by the computer program. As a result of the elder's anthropometric measurement showed significant difference most of the body dimension, response to stimulus for color, area, length and space perception were appeared that the young took less time than the elderly but no significant difference in the accuracy.
