Abstract
The purpose of this study is developing a model to estimate the sensibility quality for kitchen appliances, mainly potable water purifier. To establish the model, 10 sensibility elements were clustered in 4 grades hierarchical structure, and 45 sensibility adjectives of 12 semantic groups were selected. Through this, the questionnaire were composed and referred to by a specialists group, consisted of 12 members in ergonomics, product design, marketing and advertisement. The questionnaires on 8 major assembly parts of the purifier and their 9 functional aspects were also referred to. Analyzing responses of the questionnaires by AHP method yielded the priority estimating matrices for the sensibility quality of the appliance. The estimating results founded criteria for appliance design satisfying sensibility quality.
