On the relation between the efficiency of wood-logging operation and the size of wood of the “Momi”

Abstract

We studied the relation between the eff iciency of wood-logging operation and the size of wood of the “Momi”.
The results obtained are as follows:
1. The relation between D (breast-height diameter of wood) and V (volume of wood logging per one hour) is as follows: V=3.92_e^-0.007D-13.11_e^-0.059D
2. The relation between D and P (percentage of log-making) is as follows: P=105.46_e^-0.001D-97.74^-0.044D
3. The relation between D and d (mean top diameter of log) is as follows: d=1.1168+0.21 87D
4. We convinced that the suitable size of the wood is about 66cm in D.
