The components of wood, which can be extracted by 1% Alkali-solution are resin, hemicellulose, lignin and other substances. We, the reporters, tried to establish the quantitative analysis of lignin in the alkali-extract, using colloidal titration. As the result, we could easily achieve this purpose. So we have reported about the analytical method.
