In connection with my previous report on the standard steel I-beam bridge for forest-railway, I have investigated some designing problems about the stiffeners, cross-frames, and other attached members of I-beam-bridge, i.e. how to reduce the weight of the structure as a whole. In consequence, it has been comprehended from the economical view point that the weight of the attached members, including stiffeners and cross-frames, might be so designed and constructed to be about 20% of that of the I-beam in the case of 5_??_8m effective span and, about 30_??_55% in the case of 10_??_12m effective span respectively.
