A 26-year-old woman admitted for a 10cm sacrococcygeal tumor having cystic and solid components was di agnosed with sacrococcygeal teratoma based on computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). The tumor was resected with the coccyx. Histopathological examination showed that the cystic com ponent was mature teratoma and the solid component an ependymoma. Neither was malignant. Sacrococcy geal teratoma is rare in adults, and no case report exists, to our knowledge about that with ependymoma in the literature.
