Cancer immunotherapy

Abstract

Immunotherapy has not been a definitive therapy for head and neck cancer patients, yet. However, according to the drastic development of the molecular target drugs, the immunological therapy has possibility for add-on effect to surgery, radiotherapy, and/or chemotherapy in the future. This manuscript describes about currently feasible immunotherapies, i.e. biological response modifiers, adoptive cellular immunotherapy, vaccination, and their immunological mechanisms.
