The prevalence of allergic rhinitis is increasing, and it is becoming low age. There are many perennial allergic rhinitis patients in children, but pollinosis also exists in patients under 10 years of age. There is a concept of atopic march in which a child with atopy predisposition develops food allergy or pediatric atopic dermatitis and then develops allergic rhinitis and bronchial asthma allergies one by one. Food allergy children have a risk of developing allergic rhinitis in the future is considered high. Inhalation antigen sensitization in children with food allergy at allergy center was studied. Children sensitized with animal antigens existed less than a year. Sensitization of Dermatophagoides farinae increased rapidly from 0 years old, reaching 90% at 4 years old. Seasonal antigens such as Japanese cedar pollen increased sensitization rate from 2 years old, and Japanese cedar pollen reached 80% at 5 years old. The onset of rhinitis due to inhalation antigen sensitization is still unknown. Further investigation is necessary for the early intervention of treatment for children with atopic disease.
