Abstract

 We investigated the feasibility of visualizing water dynamics on the rat cerebral surface by direct injection of 17O-labeled water into the subarachnoid space of the cerebral cortex. We observed its dynamics on the rat cerebral surface, providing potential insights into the glymphatic hypothesis.
