The observation of Phylloscopus ijimae in the sothern part of the Izu Peninsula in Aug.-Sep., 1972 and in Apr., 1973 was mentioned. The observed birds seemed to be on migration for and from the Izu Islands. Also, a few cases of the wintering in Miyake and Hachijoh of the same species were reported.
